Railway Stress Engineer (M/w/d) (Getafe)

Responsibilities

• Perform stress and structural analyses of railway structures and components.
• Assess fatigue life and durability under dynamic loading conditions.
• Collaborate with design and testing teams to validate structural performance.
• Ensure designs meet relevant railway standards and safety regulations.
• Document analysis results and provide recommendations for design improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a sector and equivalent position.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Fluent Spanish & Fluent English, French would be a plus.
• Experience with FEA tools such as Abaqus, ANSYS, or similar software.
• Knowledge of railway industry standards (e.g., EN 12663, UIC codes).
