Range Systems Section Manager - Weather Operations and Maintenance

**Amentum is seeking a Range Section Manager – Weather Operations & Maintenance to support the Space Force Range contract.**

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Lead and direct personnel responsible for operating and maintaining meteorological systems
+ Ensure the Department is staffed with qualified personnel needed to successfully plan and manage Eastern Range meteorological operations & maintenance directly supporting launch, landing, National Weather Service (daily and hurricane activities), and daily interface with the Space Launch Delta 45 Weather team
+ Manages personnel in compliance with Amentum/SFRC (Space Force Range Contract) policy and procedures, and the Transport Workers Union (TWU) Collective Bargaining Agreement
+ Ensure all personnel are properly trained to execute their responsibilities and receive initial and recurring guidance, instructions, and direction needed to ensure quality and timely service
