R&D Backend Engineer (HDD Manufacturing)

RESPONSIBILITIES Involve in backend process development activities, hardware modification, and improvement. Undertake new process development projects for future technological requirements. Undertake improvement projects to resolve technical challenges during new product and manufacturing stages. Ensure smooth transfer of process settings from R&D team to manufacturing team. Work with Reliability team for new evaluations to establish Spin Stand HDD correlation. Requirements Bachelors Degree inMechanical Engineering, Science (Chemistry/Physics), or Materials Science and
Engineering. Experience in the manufacturing with relevant work experiences. Chemistry knowledge to support lubricant development activities. Materials science and nanotribology knowledge. Process improvement skills proficiency in Minitab and Microsoft Excel. Advanced data analysis and statistical process control. Cleanroom environment.
