R&D Interlocking Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, development, integration, and testing of Siemens-specific solutions.
• Definition and execution of tests.
• Assume assigned responsibilities throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including specification, design, development, testing, and customer support.
• Work within an international and multidisciplinary development team.

Qualifications

• Software Engineer (Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields).
• Programming languages: C, C++, Python.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with Docker technology.
• Experience with DevOps tools and continuous integration (Git, GitLab CI, Artifactory…).
• Strong understanding of communication interfaces and protocols such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP.
• Knowledge of software architecture.
