Real-Time Energy Dispatch Trader (24/7)

Contact Energy Ltd is seeking a Real Time Dispatch Trader based in the Clyde Operations Centre. You will be responsible for the real-time operation of Contact’s generation assets within a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

This role requires making critical decisions to balance commercial and environmental considerations. Successful candidates will have experience in high-pressure environments, operating independently, and navigating stakeholder queries effectively.

Regular on-site presence and the ability to work in a 24/7 rota are essential. Only candidates eligible to live and work in New Zealand will be considered.
