RECREATION ASSISTANT

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation at Hill AFB, UT. This is a Flexible position, with weekly hours ranging from 0-40. Recruitment and Retention Incentives may be authorized.. Responsibilities Performs and/or assists in operation and maintenance of recreational facilities. Establishes schedules of events as well as the rules and regulations to be observed. Types of duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Tests water-skiing and boating equipment for safe operation; demonstrates safety and conservation techniques for campsites, water sports area, firing ranges, and hunting areas; demonstrates equipment and techniques of various outdoor activities such as camping, swimming, and boating; sets up gymnasiums and playing fields for sports events, tournaments, and practice games when such assignments require a practical knowledge of the rules and procedures of such activities (i.e., are not simpl...
