Recreation Assistant (Outdoor Recreation)

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Center on March ARB, CA. The position is a regular part time position, which means you are eligible for benefits and guaranteed to work at least 20 hours per week. Position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts. Responsibilities Issues on a loan or rental basis recreational equipment to authorized patrons. Checks for proper identification of authorized patrons. Inspects all outgoing and incoming items to ensure cleanliness and proper function. Inspects facilities and equipment to assure safe condition and operation. Lifts same equipment/items and puts them away. Performs minor repairs and adjustments, annotates discrepancies and follows up to get items repaired or replaced. Assists in conducting inventories, end of the month suspenses and maintains records.
