Job Description

The Recreation Attendant will be responsible for managing, executing and overseeing recreational facilities and activities. Their role often involves a mix of customer service, maintenance, and safety duties. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Greeting visitors and providing information about available recreational activities and amenities
  • Assisting guests with equipment rentals or reservations (eg. Kayaks etc)
  • Ensuring the recreation hut is well-maintained, clean and organized 
  • Managing equipment such as checking the condition of rental items, organizing supplies and ensuring they are property sanitized and maintained
  • Handling reservations or booking systems 
  • Managing inventories and keeping track of equipment and supplies 
  • Often requires physical activity, including lifting, cleaning or assisting with activities
