**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**

The recreation therapist provides group, milieu, and individual therapy services on the inpatient psychiatric units with special consideration to theoretical approaches and evidence-based practice. The recreation therapist utilizes their specialized expertise to contribute to the individualized plan of care and meet the biopsychosocial needs of patients.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation with special populations required
