Recruitment Advisor – Overview

A full‑time, on‑site position at the Office of the Ombudsman in Wellington, New Zealand, designed to cover for parental leave until early February 2027. The role is part of the People Enablement team, providing end‑to‑end recruitment and supporting a diverse recruitment strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and coaching to hiring managers across all stages of recruitment and selection
  • Lead end‑to‑end recruitment activity: advertising, screening, interview coordination, and offer documentation
  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive and engaging experience
  • Manage and develop the Applicant Tracking System (Springboard) and other recruitment tools
  • Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and external providers
