About this role

• Regional Leadership Advisor – two fixed‑term, full‑time positions.
• Commencing 28 January 2027.
• Located in the Bay of Plenty region, based in Tauranga.
• 1–2 year secondment.
• Reports to a Director of Education and is part of the Te Mahau leadership team.
• Provides face‑to‑face and remote support to school principals, clusters and larger groups.
• Facilitates collaboration and transformational change across primary and secondary schools.

Responsibilities

• Support and coach other principals to address leadership challenges.
• Provide timely advice and support on school management, strategic and instructional leadership.
• Facilitate the sharing of good practice and innovative approaches to curriculum design.
