Registered Nurses (RNs) provide direct care and support to patients, assisting with medical needs and ensuring proper healthcare delivery. They work with individuals to manage their health and well-being in a variety of settings, including homes, clinics, and hospitals.
Common job duties of a Registered Nurse may include:
- Medicare : Administering medications, monitoring vital signs, managing patient treatments, assisting with medical procedures, and coordinating patient care plans.
- TB Screening : Conducting or overseeing the 2-step TB test, monitoring patients for signs of tuberculosis, and ensuring proper follow-up care for patients who may test positive. Additionally, RNs are responsible for ensuring that all caregivers undergo TB screening to maintain a safe and healthy environment for both staff and patients.
