Job Description
Job Summary: Directs, oversees, and evaluates the activities and functions of nutritional aspects of patient care.
Reports to: Director of Patient Care Unit
Hourly range: $30.84 – 53.49 per hour (posted hourly range excludes overtime and bonuses which are not guaranteed)
Essential Job Functions:
Ensure that nutritional needs of the patients are met in accordance with practitioners’ orders and acceptable standards of practice.Supervise the nutritional aspects of patient care including developing patient menus for appropriate diets as specified by the by the State Department of Health and or Clinical Dietetics Manual.Provide patient, family and caretaker dietary counseling and education upon request including assessing and evaluating patient tolerance to therapeutic diets when appropriate.Collaborate with other hospital services and committees (e.g., medical staff, nursing services, ph...
