Overview of Position:

Plans, provides and/or supervises the nursing care of patients in an efficient and caring manner. Coordinates care planning with other caregivers and with other areas, adheres to universal precautions, and is compliant with infection control policies. Works independently with minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1. Demonstrates competency and effective use of the EPIC documentation system, able to efficiently complete documentation utilizing the Admission/Discharge/Transfer-Arriva Navigators.
2. Facilitates admission of patients to the nursing unit, completes thorough EPIC admission Navigator documentation, initiating consults related to discharge needs (PT/OT, Speech, Diabetic Educator, Dietitian, ...
