New opportunities have arisen for an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse to join the Perioperative Services - Anaesthetics Department on a full-time or part-time basis at a private hospital in Brisbane. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:

Assessing, preparing, and supporting patients undergoing anaesthesia;

Assisting anaesthetists during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia;

Preparing and checking anaesthetic equipment, medications, and consumables prior to procedures;

Ensuring anaesthetic machines and monitoring equipment are operational and compliant with safety standards;

Monitoring patients throughout the anaesthetic phase and promptly communicating changes in patient condition;

Assisting with airway management and emergency situations as required;
