Summary This Registered Nurse position is in the Hematology/Oncology, Infusion and Radiation Therapy services at the Boston VA Medical Center, located at the Jamaica Plain location. This position is a full-time at 40 hours per week. Responsibilities The Hematology/Oncology, Infusion, and Radiation Therapy Registered Nurse (RN) is a clinical expert who uses advanced specialized knowledge and judgement for delivery of high quality and evidence-based care to patients and their families. They use a team approach to identify, analyze, and resolve patient care problems with measurable outcomes. They manage complex patient situations, act as a patient advocate, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members. Incumbent works under the direction of the Nurse Manager and is responsible for the clinical, administrative, research, and educational aspects of assigned duties.
