Registered Nurse - Complex Intervention Unit - RN

Location: Joseph 7C (JO7C), Complex Intervention Unit (General Care)

Patient Care Type: This is a 10-bed secured medical/surgical unit that is designed to provide care to adult patients with multiple comorbidities.

This unit was specifically designed to safely care for patients who have an increased risk of potential danger of harming self or others and/or verbal or physical aggressive behavior.

Future opportunity for staff on the unit could include joining the role of the of behavioral emergency response team for the Department of Nursing.

Nursing Team Roles: Nurses on JO7C are specially educated to teach and care for patients with complex medical/surgical and behavioral health needs. An emphasis on early intervention and a holistic nursing approach is used to meet the needs of this diverse patient population.
