Registered Nurse - Emergency Mental Health

We are seeking

experienced and enthusiastic registerednurses to join our team.

In this role you will:

Provide timely mental health assessments, crisis
interventions and short-term intensive treatment

Work collaboratively with service users, whanau/families,
and partner agencies to ensure safe and effective care

Work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment where no
two days are the same

Skills and Experience

Registered Nurse with current APC and mental health scope

Have a full New Zealand driver’s license

Experience in mental health settings preferred (ideally in
crisis or acute areas). However, support and education will be provided for the
right candidate

Skilled in risk assessment, crisis intervention and de-escalation

Able to remain calm, compassionate and solution focused
under pressure

A strong communicator who thrives in a team but can also
work autonomous...
