Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Overview

A Registered Nurse (RN) will join the Emergency Department team at Cold Lake Healthcare Centre. The role involves providing comprehensive, patient‑ and family‑centred care in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment while also supporting an integrated, holistic approach to care and health promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients and families.
• Utilise critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making to deliver safe, quality care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, comprehensive care.
• Serve as a leader in teaching, counselling, and advocating on behalf of patients and families.
• Coordinate acute care, day‑surgery, pre‑ and post‑endoscopy, and clinic services as needed.
