Registered Nurse - Emergency

This Registered Nurse opportunity is at the Strathcona Community Hospital. This facility offers a 24/7 Emergency Department and a variety of Ambulatory, Laboratory, and Diagnostic Imaging services. This position is the front line representative in delivering care within the Emergency Department. Based on a primary health care model, the incumbent functions within a multidisciplinary team, and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The incumbent performs a variety of nursing duties in accordance with clinical policies and nursing care standards. This includes involvement with; health promotion and prevention, health education, and treatment of illness and injury.
