Registered Nurse - Homecare

Responsibilities

• Prepares clinical and progress notes, coordinates services, works as liaison between treating physician and other personnel of changes in the client’s condition and family members.
• Counsels the clients and family in meeting nursing and related needs, participates in in‑service programs, and supervises and teaches other nursing personnel.
• Monitors and records vital signs and reports to the treating physicians for abnormal values.
• Administers prescribed medications.
• Monitors intravenous infusions and parenteral therapies.
• Provides care for clients with tracheostomy, gastrostomy and colostomy.
• Performs nursing care for clients with pacemaker, peritoneal dialysis, and clients on ventilator.
• Delivers nursing care of clients with hemiplegic, paraplegic, Bell’s palsy, cerebral palsy, terminally ill, and elderly patients.
• Cares for newborns, pre‑ and post‑partum mothers.
