Registered Nurse - Homecare

Responsibilities

• Prepares clinical and progress notes, coordinates services, and works as liaison between treating physician and other personnel regarding changes in the client’s condition and family members.
• Counsels the clients and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
• Participates in in‑service programs and supervises and teaches other nursing personnel.
• Monitors and records vital signs and reports abnormal values to the treating physicians.
• Administers prescribed medications.
• Monitors intravenous infusions and parenteral therapies.
• Provides care to clients with tracheostomy, gastrostomy, and colostomy.
• Provides care to clients with pacemaker, peritoneal dialysis, and clients on ventilator.
• Delivers nursing care to clients with hemiplegic, paraplegic, Bell’s palsy, cerebral palsy, terminally ill and elderly patients.
