The Lois Hole Hospital for Women provides expert patient care for women of all ages and in all stages of life located at the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH) one of Alberta’s largest and longest-serving hospitals. Centrally located in Edmonton’s downtown core, the RAH serves a diverse community, including some of our province’s most vulnerable populations. In this Registered Nurse position working with obstetrical patients, you will have the opportunity to use your advanced clinical skills to perform a variety of nursing duties by administering safe and effective nursing care according to hospital policies and nursing care standards. As the successful candidate, you demonstrate a professional attitude while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, have a thorough understanding of the antepartum period, the labour and delivery process and the immediate postpartum period, and possesses extensive knowledge of newborn assessment and breastfeeding.
