Registered Nurse - Med/Surg 6 - Nights

A Brief Overview Ahuja 6th floor is a 36-bed medical-surgical, telemetry, and neuro floor. Our patients range from young adult to geriatric, and have a variety of different medical diagnoses. On the 6th floor we are committed to providing safe patient care, and we utilize an interdisciplinary team to ensure all of our patients' needs are being addressed in an efficient manner. The staff consists of RN's, LPN's, PCNA's, nurse managers, and clerical staff; in addition to these positions, we also use The Care Teams of Tomorrow model, which created various positions focusing on supporting bedside staff members. We are very welcoming of new employees, and our onboarding consists of using evidence-based practice to assist staff become oriented to the unit by providing useful feedback, setting learning objectives, teaching hospital protocols, and encouraging critical thinking.
