Registered Nurse (N2) - Outpatient Surgery

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Health Services, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. Responsibilities include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, leadership within the healthcare team, and facilitating coordination of patient care and discharge. The RN must demonstrate commitment to the vision, values, goals, and objectives of the region/facility/unit.

Experience

• One-year current Post-Anesthesia (phase 2 of recovery) and surgical nursing experience required.
• Experience in outpatient surgery required.
• Experience in Endoscopy, Cystoscopy, Minor Locals and ECT preferred.
• Satisfactory employment record required.
