Job Description

 Registered Nurse (RN) Summary In accordance with professional nursing standards, provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals with tuberculosis and their families. Collaborates with the Medical Director, Nurse Manager, nursing staff, and field staff to support tuberculosis prevention, treatment, training programs, and research initiatives in partnership with the Global Tuberculosis Institute and the New Jersey Department of Health.
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assess the health status of assigned patients in accordance with professional nursing standards.
 Provide, implement, and document direct patient care within scope of practice to support the established plan of care, ensuring timely communication with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
