Job Description
Registered Nurse – Dialysis
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, weekdays, no weekends
Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience in outpatient dialysis
- Experience with home dialysis in an outpatient setting
- Proficiency in Baxter PD cycles and NxStage home hemodialysis machine
- Epic experience within the past 2 years
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing home dialysis
- Train patients on home dialysis procedures and equipment usage
- Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of patients on home dialysis
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
