Registered Nurse (RN) PACU Pediatrics

The Pediatric PACU at Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced nurse to join their team. This is a full-time position. Schedule: 3x12 shifts to cover .

This department cares for all types of pediatric patients that require surgical care or anesthesia for testing. They focus on the child and their family for education, preparation and recovery of all types of surgical and anesthetic procedures. The nurses are supported by Clinical Technician staff and Child Life Services.

Pediatric PACU is open Monday through Friday . Staff are expected to float between PACU, Pre-Op and Peds Radiology. This will also include floating to the other Pre-Op and PACU departments, after orientation to those locations. They also share space with the Pediatric Procedure, Sedation Unit
