About the Role
As a Transit Care nurse you will assess and provide essential acute clinical care to high risk patients whilst attending them to various locations across the District sites, as well as off‑site radiology. You will work with a level of autonomy in organising your day using the Smart Page booking system in discussion with clinical areas, your team members, Duty Nurse Managers and the Transit Associate Charge Nurse Managers. The Transit Care Team is a close group of skilled RN's, providing an essential service to the organisation, building collegial relationships with many specialties across the District, and is trusted and respected throughout all clinical areas for their input and support of patient wellbeing and health outcomes. Transit Care operates Monday to Friday with an alternating 08.30 start time.
