Shift: 12 hour midnight shift with alternating weekend schedule

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

UNIT OVERVIEW:

29 bed Medical Oncology and Inpatient Hospice unit. This unit sees patients that have cancer diagnoses that may require inpatient chemotherapy/immunotherapy infusions. Comfort, end of life, and hospice care are also provided by the nursing staff. The unit also cares for p...
