Job Summary
:As the Respiratory Therapist, under the supervision of the Respiratory Clinical Manager, you will be a vital member of a dynamic team responsible for performing all the duties of a Respiratory Technician; e.g., aerosol therapy, I ABG’s, oxygen therapy, ventilator care, resuscitations, overnight oximetry. In addition, the RRT will participate in continuing education and department programs as required, e.g., orientation of new employees, etc.
RRT Job Responsibilities:
- Performs, but is not limited to, all the following respiratory procedures: aerosol therapy, ABG’s, oxygen therapy, ventilator care, overnight oximetry, resuscitations; adult and neonatal.
- Clinical assessment on all patients on respiratory services with appropriate recommendations to attending or ordering physicians.
