Job Description

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Rehab Aide to join our team. This fulltime role will work days (Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) between our Knapp Rehab Center and Acute Therapy Services. 
Purpose of this position: Under close supervision of therapists (Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist), performs work in a service position to assist, transport and prepare therapy patients for procedures. Maintains treatment area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Transports patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs and standing support
Assists therapists with preparing patients for procedures
Secures patient onto therapy equipment
Assists therapists with treatments, exercises and functional activities under direct supervision
Prepares, cleans and maintains work area and disinfects equipment after treatment
Performs inventory and stocking of supplies and equipment
