Rehab Counselor (Coordinator)

Summary The incumbent serves as a Vocational Rehabilitation Services Manager at Central Alabama Veteran's Healthcare System (CAVHCS). This Incumbent provides oversight of VRS staff and their achievement of all assigned duties and responsibilities (i.e.: case management, vocational rehabilitation, training, placement, and follow-up support for Veterans within Compensated Work Therapy (CWT) Programs). Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Functions within VRS as part of the team responsible for leading the delivery of essential and available services targeted towards vocational development and/or hardening (a highly structured, goal-oriented, individualized treatment program designed to return a person back to work). Leads VRS staff in facilitating rehabilitative processes with Veterans referred to the VRS CWT Programs.
