Qualifications
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy and occupational therapy interventions under the guidance of a supervising therapist, assisting clients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and activities of daily living (ADL) retraining
- Assist in training clients on adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and mobility aids to enhance independence and safety
- Monitor client progress, maintain accurate documentation, and report changes to the supervising PT/OT
- Educate clients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, equipment usage, and strategies for maintaining safety and independence
- Assess and maintain safe, comfortable home environments that support client health and well-being
- Demonstrate compassionate, respectful care in all interactions while advocating for patient rights and participating in ongoing professional development
