Job Title: Relief Worker – Care Assistant

Salary: £15.40 per hour

Working Hours: As and when required

Location: Harbour Place, Workington

Role Overview

You will provide assistance to residents in need of physical personal care and carry out individual tasks with residents in line with their support plans to maintain or improve their quality of life and to recognise signs of distress. You will work with the team to identify and assess positive ways to reduce distress and give residents control over their lives wherever possible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and enable customers to meet the aspirations within their individual support plans, keeping up‑to‑date information on changing needs.
• Provide direct personal care to customers in line with Care Quality Commission (CQC) definitions (showering, shaving, toileting, continence management, personal hygiene). ...
