Job Overview

As a Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Operator within Pomerleau’s Surveying Department, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and ensuring compliance of flight operations on our job sites. You will contribute to the centralization of expertise to maintain a high level of rigor, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Working on large-scale construction projects—ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion—you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the advancement of technological practices and the optimization of field operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a dedicated drone pilot for project operations.
• Plan and carry out flights in compliance with Canadian aviation regulations (Transport Canada).
• Ensure inspection, maintenance, and updating of equipment (drones, sensors, software).
