Renewable Energy Engine Plant Technician

Job Summary

Manage the Landfill Gas to Energy Facility to maximize production, while ensuring safe work practices, environmental compliance, timely maintenance, contract compliance, and coordination with landfill management and operations. This role acts as a plant owner and is available whenever necessary to meet the objectives and needs of the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• By thorough evaluation of operational data, plan proper action and own production capacity to reduce operating expenses while limiting equipment downtime. Inspect activities for safety and environmental compliance and report recommendations for corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all air permit operational requirements, track CYCLE tasks, document SOP compliance, perform emissions tests, and adjust equipment to meet limits. Represent WMRE during third‑party testing and inspections.
