Job Description
RESEARCH ASSISTANT at UN. Grade: G-5. Location: Santiago, Chile. Application deadline: 30 June 2026.
Responsibilities
- Research, compiles and organizes information and technical data on gender equality and women’s rights, specific programmes/projects and related topics and issues relevant to the analysis and development of public policies.
- Assists in monitoring developments/issues on subjects or areas assigned by collecting, selecting, analysing and compiling materials from multiple sources, e.g., relevant databases, the library and the Internet.
- Assists in the evaluation and examination of analytical materials and policy-related information for accuracy, clarity and validity.
- Assists in the maintenance of relevant repositories of policy documentation and reference materials.
