ATMRI at NTU invites applications for a Research Assistant to support research on airport and airspace capacity assessment and air traffic demand forecasting in the Asia-Pacific region. The role involves aviation data analysis, model development, technical reporting, and research dissemination.
Responsibilities:
Collect, process, and analyse aviation operational data from ICAO, ASEAN, airports, ANSPs, and other relevant sources to support airport and airspace capacity assessment.
Support the development and validation of airport capacity, airspace capacity, and air traffic demand forecasting models for the Asia-Pacific region.
Conduct literature reviews, statistical analyses, and scenario studies to evaluate future airport and ATM/airspace capacity requirements over a 15-year planning horizon.
