Job Title: Research Scientist, Texas GenAI Center Job Summary Under the direction of the Director of the Center for Generative AI, the Research Scientist will conduct independent research within the Texas GenAI Center and its parent organization, the Machine Learning Laboratory. The position is funded for three years, with potential continuation depending on external grants or industry partnerships. Research Topics Natural Language Processing Computer Vision Machine Learning for Biology Machine Learning for Health/Medicine Responsibilities Read and write manuscripts for publication in peer‐reviewed conferences and journals. Advance collaborative projects with industry via the Machine Learning Laboratory's industry affiliates partner program (expect to spend one day per week on industry‐facing projects).
