BI is an independent, not-for-profit foundation and the main provider of research based knowledge on business and management disciplines in Norway.

The interdisciplinary research project, called LogiCCS, consists of 15 partners across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Latvia, aiming to develop knowledge to enhance efficient Carbon capture, transportation and storage (CCS) supply chains and operations in the region. The focus is on developing sustainable and energy-efficient cross-border maritime infrastructure and logistics solutions for transporting carbon dioxide (CO₂) captured from energy-intensive and heavy industry sectors in the Nordic and Baltic Sea Region for long-term storage.
