Hours of Work

Casual: No minimum guarantee

Part time: Guaranteed a minimum of 24 hours per pay (biweekly) (open availability required)

Full time: Guaranteed a minimum of 80 hours per pay (biweekly)

Salary

Hourly: Start – $30.63, 6 Months – $31.17, One Year – $31.63

Job Overview

The Residential Counsellor provides support for and advocates on behalf of clients to meet their physical, psychological and social needs. They advise and assist Community Support Workers and other staff members under the direction of the Community Setting Supervisor and act as primary counsellor for specific clients. They assist and actively participate in the planning and implementation of residential programs as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
