Job Description
Overview of the Position:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Operations, Pharmacist-in-Charge, or Designee, incumbent is responsible for assisting pharmacy team members in the daily workflow of retail pharmacy including, but not limited to, processing and filling prescriptions for pharmacist verification. The incumbent must work with patients, pharmacy staff, and clinic staff to ensure the patient receives the highest quality pharmacy service while adhering to HopeHealth’s procedures and all state and federal rules and regulations.
Education and Experience:
•High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
•Must maintain Pharmacy Technician Registration or State Certification (preferred), in good standing, with the SC Board of Pharmacy
•PTCB Certification preferred
•2+ years of pharmacy work experience required
•Prior customer service required
•Experience with PioneerRx Software preferred
