Ensure on board safety and a secure voyage 
Contribute to sustainable and efficient operations 
Remain informed with regular meetings and training sessions 
Ensure compliance of patents and crew qualifications 
Maintain smooth operations with accurate and timely reporting 
Leadership:  
Represent the Captain when required 
Make key decisions and lead with authority
