Circulating Registered Nurse
The position is for a Circulating Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Call duty is required. Candidates must have experience in the administration of blood and blood products. Additional skills include aortic aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), and handling intra-aortic balloon pumps. Candidates should be familiar with the universal protocol and various surgical procedures. Experience with patient ratios and charting systems is beneficial. Applicants should be capable of specimen handling and urinary bladder catheterization. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and teamwork skills.
