RN Infusion Scheduling Coordinator

General Description:

The RN Infusion Scheduling Coordinator reports to Infusion Center Department Head. The RN Infusion Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and scheduling safe, efficient, and clinically appropriate infusion therapy services within the infusion center. This role performs clinical review of provider orders, assesses treatment readiness, coordinates infusion scheduling, and ensures required authorizations, laboratory results, and clinical documentation are completed prior to treatment. The RN Infusion Coordinator utilizes clinical judgment to identify and escalate potential treatment concerns, support protocol compliance, and promote high-quality patient care throughout the infusion scheduling and coordination process.
