The Psychiatric Mental Health Registered Nurse will be committed to promoting mental health through the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of behavioral problems, mental disorders, and comorbid conditions across the lifespan. 
The RN will provide, structures, and maintains a safe, therapeutic, recovery-oriented environment in collaboration with patients, families, and the multi-disciplinary care team. The RN integrates knowledge of pharmacological, biological, and complementary interventions with applied clinical skills, in order to assist the patient in their individual recovery by improving and regaining their previous coping abilities, fostering mental health, and preventing mental disorder and disability.
