RN Nursing Coordinator - Children's Specialty Clinic-Neurology Team

RN Nursing Coordinator needed for Children's Specialty Clinic-Neurology Team at CP II

The right candidate for this role will have previous pediatric and neurology experience and is strongly preferred. You will be an indispensable member of the pediatric neurology team in the care of children with complex care needs. This individual will carry out a range of important care coordination activities, including but not limited to:

+ Prior authorizations/appeals – medications, MRIs, other studies
+ Coordinating MRI/EEG/Spinraza appts Prescription refills – calling the pharmacy to confirm receipt; following up with the patient to ensure script was picked up
+ Screen and triage a high volume of patient calls/messages
+ Request outside imaging/records Referrals (PT, OT, patients referred to OSH for second opinions)
+ Results – calling patients with results for labs, MRI, EEG, etc.
