Travel Registered Nurse Oncology
Travel experience is required. Chemo certification is preferred. No locals are accepted. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratios for day shifts are 6 patients per nurse. Patient ratios for night shifts are 6 patients per nurse. Float may be required within the facility. Daily census will include adult and geriatric patients. Successful candidates must have skills in accessing and managing ports, administering chemotherapy and blood products, and patient/family education and support, among others. Those interested must have experience in medications such as antibiotics, antivirals, and antiemetics. Candidates will also need experience in managing complications such as anaphylaxis and sepsis. Additional skills may include tracheostomy care and wound care. All candidates should provide references upon request.
