Description: The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that floats throughout multiple campuses to provide support where necessary. The primary campus has approximately 16 Adult Health units with patients ranging from Observation to Med Surg and Progressive Care. Travelers in the Progressive Care Unit may be floated to any of these units during their contract. Occasionally, they may be floated to the Emergency Department or Post Anesthesia Care Unit to take Adult Health patients with inpatient orders waiting on a bed on a unit, although this is not common.
